I hate to use the word stupid about any population of people wedded to beliefs not supported by facts- since the word would apply all too frequently in so many countries. But other than that I agree with you, that Arafat is a huge liability for the Palestinians and has done their interests much harm. I respect that. But in regard to the Palestinians, I have run out of any other words to describe their propensity to cling to horrible leaders who manipulate their instincts and lead them to ruin. Again and again and again. They are political morons.
