That's correct -- in CA & NY real estate prices are out of line with most of the rest of the country.

Not just CA and NY.....try Chicago, Boston, NV, RI, NH, CO, AZ, OR, DC, WA and parts of FLA. Many areas have seen significant price appreciation....areas with significant growth and/or limited expansion room.
