Dont assume the majority of Americans are going to agree with your very liberal attitudes. The election is won is the middle. The election is won by persuading consdrvatives and moderates to vote for a democrat even though they might not agree with all his policies. Clinton had that magic. Gore did not. Kerry might but needs help from Graham. Then the math works. Dean is Dukakis II. Compare them. They're very similar. And look what Bush's father did to Dukakis even though it was unfair.
