There is no question there are two types of anomalies at Navidad and the vein swarms are rich narrow vein things. They are not that close together that bulk mining is called for. 9 or even 15 parallel one metre veins over 540 feet of width cannot be bulk mined. End of story.

Face one fact. Whatever happens, Navidad cannot be as good as you might wish it were. Holding for drillers without kiss-off money is a bad risk, whether Bre-X or Texas Gulf. A TG comes along once in 20 years. A Bre-X or Diamet comes along once in 20 years. Be thankful. If you are not god or not lucky then gather only what you can risk to gather, then run for your hut when the clouds come by. Otherwise you will be out in the field when the lightning strikes, and unless you are lightning proof it could be trouble.
