You have fallen for the usual garden-variety propaganda of the Marxist/Leninist anti-American left. Reagan brought the mast-damaging top marginal tax rate down from 70% to 28%. Clinton/Rubin could have created the next Great Depression by completely restoring it, but Republicans limited them to only bringing it back to around 40%. Bush is now undoing that damage, and the positive economic effects are already emerging. By the end of Bush's second term, there is a good probability that we will finally reach the 17% flat tax that would increase growth to double digits. Then the fight begins to lower the 17%...
