Perhaps sub nato for UN. I have so little faith in that body. I think neither a US or French controlled Nato with a political/socio-eco function may be better at least in mideast. As for korea, the UN has rights there because of Korean war and interest in non-prolif but.......mike

Hawk, communist means communally owned means of production. China is increasingly anything but.

And never has been. They call themselves communists, but such political elites have never really thought of themselves as anything but the elite of their society.

It's really more Fascist that Communist.... Either way, it consists of a group of privileged people who have the political/economic means to control the means of production within their country (for their own benefit)..

But things are changing in China, as we saw in Hong Kong.. The leadership is finding less leeway in ignoring the demands of its people for positive political change and accountability.
