Don't oversimplify :Timing.Facts. If the inspections were given a chance. If an bonafide international coalition had been created. If PUBLIC available intelligence had not been discredited. If the reason for the war had not been changed on a daily basis. If Inteligence and belief in the American Citizens had not been trashed on the alter of Marketing and Propaganda. I would NOT have been a war opponent. I supported GULF War 1. I thought Bush 1 had a lot of experience, OBM, CIA, VP, Congress.I even voted for him. There was an invasion of another Sovereign COuntry.( I know borders were disputed and that that thing with Ambassador Gillespie (SP?) was fishy. But it passed the smell test and had an international coalition. Nothing about this Administration's cause belli for war/Invasion/Occupation passed the smell test. (Read FADG from last July to present. THe string of deception, sensatonalization and disservice is all there.) Also, while Pollack endorsed a regime change he never signed on for the Administration accelerated timetable and sense of urgency.
