I believe that - from the point-of-view of winning the nomination - right now it seems to be Kerry/Dean leading for the head of the ticket... and Graham/Edwards (only southerners) positioned for the VP slot.

Biden is a non-starter.

Correction: The presidency is LOST for the Democrats in 2004. The question remains the margin, and the coattails.

Dean and Kerry are currently tied for the "biggest disaster" award. But-and you HAVE TO ADMIT-Dean has fought the better political fight, and Kerry is finished with the only constituents he could ever have won over...
