He sold the tax cut as an economic stimulus. If he has no control over the economy, that's another lie.

Perhaps you don't understand it, but all tax bills originate in the House and then are compromised with the Senate.

As I've said before, the economy is in control of Congress. The president can merely make recommendations which Congress may or may not approve...


No, no, no.........you must stop rewriting history!

Bush sold the tax cuts to Congress by stating very loudly and clearly that they would revive the economy. Actually, he demanded that Congress pass those cuts.

And you best hope they do revive the economy or that will be another nail in his presidential coffin.

Remember.........its the economy stupid!
