The real Al Qaeda link is to Saudis who have money ties to the neocons. And the neocons are trying to cover that up.

Yes, this issue is much larger than the old yellowcake intelligence lie. Fact: Bush attacks UBL in Afghanistan. More than 90% of the American public support action. Fact: Actions in Afghanistan were not conducted with adequate forces. UBL escapes. Terrorism still alive in Afghanistan. War lords rule the land. Fact: Bush tries to connect UBL to Saddam. Then uses this as part of a multi-lie sell to the American people to attack Iraq. Q: If the American people were in favor of ousting Saddam just because he was a bully, then why not sell the war based on this fact alone? Fact: Poor post war planning and continued underestimation of the resistance in Iraq continues to cost dearly in money and lives. Fact: The majority of Iraqis do not want the US to be in Iraq. Fact: Bush popularity down from over 90 to now under 50. The American people do not support the actions of the president, now that the emphasis was shifted from avenging Al-Qaeda to that of invading Iraq. Fact: The real reason behind attacking Iraq was to secure the oil. It has nothing to do with WMD, Al Qaeda, nukes or Saddam's evilness. Charles Taylor is evil. Bush did not react immediately with troops to Liberia. And many other mad man on the planet that are killing their own people. Kim Jung Il is killing his people, and while Bush attacks Iraq, N. Korea announces the achievement of the the nuclear bomb. This while letting his people starve or work in forced labor camps. Fact: Bush policy is couched in protecting oil reserves in the middle east. They see this as the only way to secure economic growth in the west for the next 50 years, while lining their own pockets.
