"Still wouldn't be the high for my life time in terms of percentage of GDP."

So, you don't worry until its the high for your lifetime. Is that how you deal with your bills?

I didn't say that I won't worry, I'm just saying the point in the article was still valid. Recent presidents have had deficits that where worse when measured by percentage of GDP. I was somewhat worried then (under Reagan and Clinton) and I'm still somewhat worried now, but the point is this deficit isn't substantially different in size then the other ones.

Its not that big deficits are good, in fact they normally are bad, but they are not unusual and they are not the end of the world.
