War and its aftermath are usually ugly and messy and somewhat if not very difficult, but I don't see things in Iraq really falling apart. Perhaps you do, or at least you worry about it as a strong possibility.

I don't see things falling apart but I see things consuming our time and money for a long time.

Our resources are limited due to on going commitments. We probably have just enough money to do maybe one undertaking like an Iraq. I am mostly sure that Iraq is not the best use of those limited resources. I further believe it has the ability to put our economy into a period of limited growth with little benefits to its citizens and to cause problems for Americans all over the world in the form of violence.

In other words, I can't see its value to this country although I can see its value to some American companies like Halliburton. But Iraq's oil doesn't impress me like it impresses Cheney and Bush. Sorry. I am of the belief we need to wean ourselves off oil as much as possible asap.
