Please explain to me a single "threat" I made anywhere. Anywhere at all. That poster began talk of violence on this thread and I find it absolutely unacceptable. Your response seems to condone that kind of talk - people getting beat up because they go into the "bad neighborhood...looking for trouble."

Well, I knew at some point this site would be pressured to shut down my public statements.

As long as I make public statements - here or elsewhere, I will not sit back and allow SI members to bring fear into this discussion by veiled threats of violence. I have every right to respond. Your statement calling that a "threat" is preposterous.

Now, I would request that you as the administrator of this site clearly point out where I threatened "Jon Tara." You cannot find any threat because there is none. I made very clear that if physical violence became an issue the response would be overwhelming, and justly so.

Frankly, I'm surprised you would come here to warn me, of all people.

You refer to previous suspensions? Those suspensions were an attempt to terminate this discussion. I hope you will not do the same. Thus far, it has been open. I hope that continues, but if I am suspended yet again, I will not be surprised in the least.

I've been threatened by SI before. If you terminate my account, that will merely reflect exceedingly poorly on your administration here. As I recall, you allowed a number of convicted felons to post here for many years, and a great deal of fraud has been committed here at SI by those and others. For you to start warning someone who is combating fraud is outrageous. Shame on you. I hope you reconsider your attitude in this post. If not, then I imagine that SI does not stand for an open discussion of all topics. It has proven that in the past. I thought you were here to make changes. Well, maybe not.

You want to suspend me then you go right ahead and do it. You're not God, and I am not even remotely going to sit here and allow you to slant this discussion in favor of despicable posters such as "Jon Tara." Now the only one threatening here is YOU.

Shut down the discussion, and then I think many lurkers here will begin to wonder why. Your decision. You do it, and it shows very poor judgment indeed.

Sincerely,

Olivier L. F. Asser

Consider this a warning. And a stern one.

TokyoJoe, Jonathan Lebed, Jenna, 100 fake aliases purchased and employed by the brokerage firms Terra Nova Trading and CyberTrader in order to violate numerous laws, in addition to many more of their co-conspirators.

Please tell me, how often did SI threaten to and/or actually suspend, let alone "terminate" any of these individuals? Let me guess...

I was threatened in the past (IMO) by a real "jerk", and the old SI administration did nothing...
Then I believe I wrote to you over on your other site, and I asked you if the same threat was made against my family there, would you suspend the member at least temporarily, and you said you did not see the threat clearly...
It's funny how some will see a threat, and others do not, from the same post.
I did not see Olivier threaten anyone, but did see him clearly defend himself.
