What i don't know about NK would fill libraries, so this is admittedly based on few reported facts of the matter - My general impression to date is, what point is there in talking to this regime in any manner, they do not keep their word and they're only out for ego strokes, which they plan to get by forcing first the concession of secret one-on-one talks, at which they will certainly shake you down for big bucks, the benefit of which their subjects will never see That said, to talk is the job of diplomats, who we wouldn't want to see out on the street making trouble in other manner, so why not, let's talk by all means Good point about the japanese, there is old history there the regime could use for propaganda .... but that still leaves the SKs, the chinese, the russians ... the latter two have been allies with the regime until recently, for sure they have diplomats with experience and big files and language capacity As for being rushed for time - when that line is used on me in business, while a substantial reason for it is not apparent to my eye, i distrust it .... i think hey, what is this doofus trying to railroad me into, what is he hiding .... it's a red flag unless there is some third party force majeure cause for hurry Dubya's stupid little wannabe cowboy threats were 'less than helpful' as the diplomats put it, no doubt about that ..... but there are other ways to relieve the stress they caused, than by getting locked in a room alone with some dickhead dictator who insists you can't publish what he says to you ... gotta run, later .... really i do not have a grasp on the whole picture with NK though, you know ... cheers
