Let's try an easier problem...a word problem with "fractions" ...

Suppose you find an old recipe for lemonade and it reads as follows.....

Lemonade
Combine:
1 1/3 Cups lemon juice [juice of 5-6 large lemons]
1 1/3 Cups [less 2 Tb] granulated sugar
2 Tb granulated brown sugar
???? Cups water.
Mix thoroughly and chill before serving.
Makes: 1 quart

The ???? is unreadable. How much water is added?

DUH! The product of the 2 functions previously defined.

Go away. As jttmab said, you try to drag this out forever.
