And they are the same bunch who armed Saddam and Osama in the 80's. Gee, that sounds really good. As long as you take everything out of context. Remember that brilliant statesman Jimmy Carter? The US Embassy in Iran? The Iran-Iraq War? Is anything stating to come back to you? And then there was Afghanistan and the USSR in the '80s. Payback time for Vietnam. This time we got to supply the weapons and they got to do the dying, develop drug and morale problems in the army and unrest at home, and get their officers fragged. Worked pretty good too. The USSR fell in the early '90s and the Cold War ended. Why, do you want the Cold War and MAD back?
