well i scrolled back and saw that you were enjoying some time off sorry to hear about the tidge of burn but it sounds like all in all it was worth it... :) you broked your water softener? now just what did you do this time... seriously, make certain your service guy gives you a detailed report on why it is broked and what parts are involved and why it can't be repaired. 1k for a cheapie new one....dear, you could buy 2 pair of guccis for that<g>
