Well you got me. Less than 80% dead. Maybe 50%. You're right. That't not so bad is it? That way we have at least 40 years or coral reefs left on the planet. Something the creator took millions of years to create. And the forests and wildlife, about the same. So I guess it's okay to be so selfish you dont care what you leave to future generations.

The point is, the Bush administration is batting zero on the environment, or close to it. And lying about it at the same time. It's really a crime to put industry above environment and pretend you're being a good steward. No one can solve this problem alone, but the US government can do more than anyone, and they're not. In fact they're dragging their feet. One more big reason why we need a new president who actually cares about our future.
