Mr Trimble is on KVHI's board of directors. He is well known as Mr GPS.

Boat navigation and personal GPS instruments are coming down in price and growing in popularity.

Kvhi uses GPS for a much higher end military navigation unit - " Tac Nav ".

KVHI uses GPS for satellite communication systems for : boats RV's and now just recently SUV's.

Trimble is very well thought of and probably 2-3 years ahead of KVHI is so far as their products are well known amongst the masses.

KVHI's products are high end 3000 plus. Trimbles used to be and are now coming into mass merchandise products - thus his transitional importance at KVHI.

As best I can tell his products are perceived as high quality and trouble free - closest competitor is Garmin.Anothe rgood growth story.

GPS is a military system that has very successfully been commercialized.
