There have been many indications that the President, and Blair, sexed up the intelligence to justify war. The CIA and George Tenet knew that the Iraq Niger story was bull. Why did he let the President use that in the SOTU speech? The cock and bull stories about the Al Qaeda-Saddam connection have never been demonstrated by intelligence. Why was this relationship touted by Bush, Cheney, Rice and Powell? I think that it is clear that both the Brits and the US see the importance of middle east oil to the economy of the west, and this is the unspoken reason for the war. Orca
