I think it won't be until Saddam is killed. Bush can't very well leave the country now, as Saddam will just pop up somewhere, and Bush will look even sillier. So, killing Saddam is priority one for Bush right now (along with all the *other* priority one issues :)

Do you all recall the bedlam that One sniper, supported by another caused in the Wash. DC area? That is an area with plenty of police force, educated pretty much like minded people with all infrastructure intact. Now, picture Iraq with broken infrastructure, split peoples, no real police force outside of Coalition forces. I bet there arent even 100 people causing all this problem. Note the South and the far North where the locals pretty much have gotten their act together. Relatively calm, no sniping etc etc and infrastructure at least back to prewar levels.
Give the President and our forces a break. This is not unusual at all and in my judgement being blown way out of proportion by the media hungry for summertime news to fill in the normally dull times. This bickering in the press is HURTING not helping our chances for Peace in the Middle East. jdn
