I bet it is the wrong answer but I'll try it anyway - the distance from the sun is shortest during the winter and hence Jun 21 is longer?

1st ball rolls on a flat surface
2nd ball rolls on a surface that is slightly bent downwards in the central region
which of the following is true?
a) ball #1 reaches a 1st (on a flat surface)
b) ball #2 reaches a 1st
