And, the Federal government's accounting procedures
look like Enron's.

Why would you want to give them any more money
in tax revenue? It's like buying more Enron stock
as it was going down in a futile attempt
to "break even".

If an organization is fundamentally dishonest,
why trust them with your money?

Yes, it's called the 'Bush Flexible Economic Theory'. The idea is that you can bend the theory anyway you want to fit your political agenda.

I thought the Republican mantra was that deficits were bad? I guess they're only bad when a Democrat is president; otherwise, they must be good, because Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43 are absolutely in LOVE with them.
