That's a good thing, imo. I feel I am a citizen of the world. World first, America second- because without a world, America would have a hard time existing- just floating away, without anything to hang onto- can you visualize it just floating off into space, all by itself? Sometimes that's the way I think some people see America, which seems sad to me. The US may not like to think about it, but gosh- pick up any simple new object in your home, most will have been made in China. I am deeply cognizant of my connection to the rest of the world, and I'm happy about it for the most part.
