Do you really think that us puny humans have any great control over the massive forces of nature?

You may not have seen any great engineering projects. Yes, humans can alter the planet significantly.

B.E.

I agree. The release of greenhouse gasses from North America, also do not account for the planetary warming trends that is occurring in other planets Earth shares a Solar Systems with - Neptune, Pluto, and Mars.

On the other hand, for the past couple years, the EU have actually increased emissions of greenhouse gasses. Meanwhile, in the United States (I believe), greenhouse gas emissions have actually decreased. Sometimes talk is cheap and the anger (over Kyoto) phoney. One should also recognize that because of declining or negative population growth, Europeans should have an easier time reducing the amount of greenhouse gases they produce - than the U.S. which is still growing (mostly due to immigration ).
