Where's that national debt clock, they need to dust it off and get it ticking again. Guess they put it in storage after Clinton got the deficit under control.

I think this is a perfect opportunity for the Democrats to throw off the spending legacy of Ted Kennedy and become the new party of fiscal responsibility. Many Democrats firmly believe in a mixture of social consciousness and fiscal responsibility. Obviously, the New Republicans have become the new Drunken Spending Sailors of Washington.
