"You ever work for a company called Hosting.com, which has offices in Austin? Ever contract for work with CyberCorp? "

No, and no.

Hosting.com provides web hosting, e-mail hosting, and a "Unix shell account" for me.

A few years ago, Alligience Telecom bought Connectnet, a local, San Diego Internet Service provider that was providing me these services. Subsequently, Alligience Telecom also bought hosting.com, which is based in Boston, and then merged Connectnet's operations into hosting.com's.

Whether or not they have an office in Austin, I wouldn't know. Is that a crime of some sort?

You have shown nicely how your paranoid mind works, though.

Now, I'd advise you to keep the rest of your fishing expedition to yourself. You've taken it to the point of invasion of privacy. SI generally does not look favoribly toward invasion of privacy.
