No intimidation. Just good advice, I'm for free speech. But I am also against slanderous name-calling and wiold radical exaggeration. I have often scolded lefties for calling Bush a fascist. Usually PM them. It's irresponsible and hurts the argument. Is also offensive and annoying. Just the facts, thought-out opinions and no Anne Coulter/Savage style BS is the way to go. You can call a public figure a liar or a coward but not go into the extreme slander zone. John Kerry actually a friend of mine so I personally dont like it.

Also, if someone starts spouting and spamming embarassments and ID's themselves, they should know someone could find out. I'm not going to bust the guy, who cares? But who knows if his partners surf these threads. I know them and they dont seem like the kind of guys who'd like it one bit.

Bottomline, we shouldn't say anything on these threads we wouldn't want be willing to say in public. At least that's the way I feel.
