So should we have funeral services for every miscarraige? Many pregnancies are terminated naturaly in the first month or two because of hormone imbalances or other biological reasons. The mother might not even notice it.

I do not think that human life begins at conception. Four cells is not a human being. Nor is 28, nor 200, nor 2000. After the first trimester the fetus becomes pretty human-like, but it is not a viable being in and of itself.

I'm satisfied with the current law, which allows abortion in the first trimester. It does not make it mandatory, but leaves the option to the mother, father, doctor and their clergy to decide what is right for them.

Personally I prefer to not abort if there is a chance for the child to grow up in a happy and healthy family. But if for some reason the mother, and the father, if present, do not have the resources to raise a child then it's better to consider other family planning options.

As a libertarian I believe in letting the people involved make the decision that is best for them, with out government interference.

at conception their biological functions begin in time
No, the egg and sperm were going through the whole range of biological processes before conception. The egg in particular began it's biological functions many years earlier than any possible conception. Life is a 4 billion year old continuous process, not a series of isolated events for each organism.
