Al, I've been bringing up Hillary's "Bush Knew" stunt for months now. Here is a link:

Ten, he did know. The Germans told him something big was happening at least a month before 9/11. Whether he knew enough to stop is another question.

Where does it quote Hillary as saying "Bush Knew" ? You are sensationalizing her call for an investigation and then saying in the same post that there should be an investigation. Of course not. Don't be silly. If anything, I'm all for an investigation and perhaps some real top-down reform in the CIA (and the FBI,
though they aren't involved with Iraq).

" Yeah, and I'm sure Ken Starr "just wanted to know" the intimate details of her husband's extramarital affairs.

Read Woodward's book on the topic...after his investigation of Whitewater and travelgate had gone nowhere, Starr was searching exactly for that kind of dirt. His own lieutenants resigned in disgust disapproving of his overreaching.

The only abuse I see is that of partisan politics.

I think that's extremely naive.

" because too many people are jumping to conclusions already.

Are you serious? ....the CIA, WH, Condi, have all admitted that some of the claims were not backed up by evidence. The press is focusing on the uranium topic, but the AlQueda link claimed by the administration was equally trumped up and discouraged by our intelligence agencies.
