I'm going to have to look for some of those.

Here's another tip. Forget those little eyelets. Tie the fishermans knot around your finger and do the twists etc until it's tied but not tightened. Put the base of the eye of the hook in the loop and tighten around the base versus worrying about threading through. Works for all those little ice fishing jigs that I use that are also so damn small that I can hardly find the hole in the eyelit. I guess the eyes aren't quite as young as they used to be:) You also don't have to worry about painted jigs where the eye is covered by paint.

Yes I like the cover. I am much more careful then I used to be because I have already done some of the pre cancerous things. Us farmers, fisherman, gardeners, golfers, whatever, never paid any mind to that 30 years ago and I guess we are going to pay a price for that.

And you folks have a standing invite to come up anytime! I just have a trailer but I can sleep 6 easy. Also have access to cabins with a little notice. Many miles of water to cruise, cocktail and fish. Hell we can even pull up to several supperclubs and tie the boat and eat.

My weekend heaven!

Oh and your buddy sounds like my kind of guy! It's what is keeping him young. I can only hope at that age to be able to do half that!
