Democrats Discussed Extending Budget Crisis

This story is hilarious -- but for the fact that it typifies the behavior of the Democrats. Totally political, putting their own political interests ahead of the interests of the constituents.

It sounded like they were hoping to create a crisis at some point to further their political gains in other areas,"

Precisely. This is what the liberals in DC are doing, as well. They WANT Iraq to be a crisis (even though it is obviously one of the most successful operations ever undertaken by our military). They WANT the economy to be bad (even though the tax cuts seem to have mitigated the recession which we otherwise might have seen).

This is what is truly sad:

While a delay might serve the tactical advantage of Democrats, its consequences are already being felt by students, vendors and the poor: Since the new fiscal year began July 1 without a budget, the state has already begun to cut off money to some programs.

Great post, one showing the true colors of the liberals. We need more exposure of these kinds of incidents.
