Why is that a concern ? You are trotting out the same arguments against globalisation that the unions trot out.
These jobs going offshore means US companies get to reduce costs , increase profits. US consumers benefit by getting cheaper goods, US shareholders benefit due to increasing profits, Indian/Chinese consumers benefit by getting access
to higher paying jobs.(Incidentally as their wealth increases India and China become potential markets for US
companies) As for the labor for dislocation that
happens here in programming, other jobs are created that
serve the Indian/Chinese markets. This is the invisible
hand of free market functioninng as it should. I think
putting restrictions on the free flow of capital and labor
etc in the end causes more harm than good.
