Hey, if I lost that much money and then had a chance to peer inside "the belly of the beast", you bet your life I would take them up on their offer to work for them!
As for following the advice given for a fee to the 'T', of course that is entirely up to the individual involved, but it can be assumed one is paying a fairly high fee for a reason, otherwise they could trade on their own!
