I would love to retire at age 53, like in China, and get 90%+ of my pay as pension. Sounds great. So its hard to understand why ...But I guess I am daydreaming, the chances are that I will have to work in the US until I nearly drop dead.

Retiring at 53 with a 90% pension is a deal I'd go for if it were available for me. How strange you don't.

You should be a government railway worker in France if such an early retirement is what you're looking for.
