Domestic stability of successful nation in this integrated world is a sum total of global security, it is naïve to consider isolation or insular foreign view as a secure approach, it may bring mock security for a short while but enemy of human progress steal moments of appeasement and deal global community the mightiest of the blows by derailing the entire phenomenon of progress through knowledge and interaction. 80’ saw the foundation of the dismemberment of the greatest evil empire and that was through open confrontation today Russia plays a significant role as a new emerging democracy but someone challenged the dictatorship and finally got the Russians to realize that they need to be on the right side of the history. Similarly ME needs active engagement half hearted neither here nor their approaches from 1990 to 2000 resulted into disasters that we all saw. A nation that is at the heart of global business and has global interests would have to make larger sacrifices, the others have very little to loose. USA prosperity depends on a world that is open and a world that embraces respect of human cultures as a basic tenet. Policing and active engagement for great nation is a cost, a great super nation that would refuse to police the hotspots of the world would not remain economically despite of its potential at the centre stage of our mother earth, our economy and peace depends on the prosperity, hopes of not only of the children of USA but the entire world depend on a peaceful co-existence, some responsibilities are not usurped they are part of designed destiny or course of history, they get entrusted upon, and some of these global responsibilities are hard for the families involved however that acknowledged the greater good of mankind cannot be underestimated by these selfless exercises. USA today is at such a cross road, the history will se all this in a manner that befits this occasion that is the freedom of suppressed slaves of Iraq shall not be only a small footnote it would be a major one. Carrying big stick may not be just enough dealing with new threats that use decadent technology to mass murder, stopping them in their factories where they produce such destruction is the challenge and not a small one either.
