I doubt I can give you an answer to your questions. I think that an old phrase like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is the best that I can do.

I think it depends a lot on investment "style" of the individual and what is expected, and over what time frame.

Eventually, there will be a recovery for the semi-equip sector, but when that will occur is obviously the "great debate" that is going on now. The market wants to be out front of the recovery, but how far out front? Also of equal importance is how fast does the recovery ramp up and how far will it go?

I can't put words in Mr O Hare's mouth, but I would guess he is speaking over the relatively near term - at least that is the way I would interpret them. Those words may not be appropriate a few months from now.
