Just a follow-up to my Scottrade question on sub-penny stocks. Although it is functional, it's not so good for anything under a penny as it only accepts limit orders in increments of .01 which can be a deal killer if playing the subs. My Ameritrade Plus account lets you go to increments of .001 on stocks under a penny; I am hopeful my Freetrade account by Ameritrade will too once I fund it.

Regards to Scottrades fees on penny stock, I paid $14.48 for 2500 shares of MYRG at 0.19 so it beats my Ameritrade Plus account (which was my former NDB account) but is higher than their $7 trades on other issues. I believe they calculate their penny commissions based on $7 + 1/2 percent of the total, if I recall correctly.
