Why we have to break the Unions. The summary of a long article in the "Washington Post" on Postal Reform.Get ready for the 40 cent First Class Stamp. Then on to 50 cents. The only thing they are good at is raising prices.

>>>The Postal Service, which has 735,000 employees and an annual budget of $66 billion. The independent agency, hit hard by declines in first-class mail, is $11 billion in debt.

Union president William Burrus said he would not support any changes that curtail workers' rights or make it possible to close post offices without community input. "Change is always necessary to improve things, and we hope to be a part of the dialogue that will occur."

Snowshoe,
Agree.

My stepbrother (a Bradley platoon sergeant with the 4th ID) confirms they are running numerous successful OPS every night.

The SF message backchannel is full of info about wins. And these guys do not BS...they tell it like it is.

Still it is a war. The enemy has strength and the will to fight. We must keep the pressure on and continue to kill them.

Terrorist leaders tend to think they are so clever they are invincible. Presently a helluva lot of the Muslim militant extremist leadership is being taken out...i.e. Taliban, Al Q, Iraqi, Hamas, Saudi and others. This will have an effect on their OPS. Today, Hussein loyalists have 66% fewer Hussein's to be loyal to.

As a tactical battlefield strategy, we often by-pass strongholds to maintain attack momentum and we did it in Iraq. Then ya gotta go back and secure those areas too.
Mop up operations are SITNORM and always difficult. I much prefer that term to guerrilla war and the connotations it brings to the table.
