It would seem like you could use it to trade ES futures as well.

That gets you a chance to make a correction mid-day (something funds do not allow).

I seem to recall a day last year where the spoos gapped down a full 50 points and recovered 100% of it.
100 ES points in a single day were possible but I would guess the funds closed flat.
