McKay was mostly talking WMD programs and not just WMD. You do know the difference.

His name is "KAY".

He is "mostly" not talking about ANYTHING. He is, as he should, keeping his mouth shut until he can present a comprehensive picture of the situation. One of the great characteristics of this administration is they don't go off half-cocked. They are patient.

Kay obviously will present comprehensive information on the existence of WMD programs. Whether weapons or precursors is involved is, frankly, immaterial. It was Kay who led the inspection missions that uncovered conclusive proof that Saddam was 18 months from having a nuke (after we had been told he had no nuclear capability). He is totally credible.

And isn't McKay a well entrenched conservative?

Well, "McKay" may be. But Dr. David Kay has never, so far as I'm aware, disclosed any information about his political background. I do know that both Clinton and the Bush have strongly supported his leadership for inspection missions.

I would suggest that if you don't know the guy's name you probably don't know anything about his political background, either.

BTW McKay was mostly talking WMD programs and not just WMD

Yes, now can you describe why the difference is significant?
