We intentionally bombed the Chinese embassy -- I think is was the wrong thing to do, but it was no accident. I give credit to China for showing maturity on that issue and not triggering a bigger, uglier and more long-lived response. Can you imagine what we would do if China bombed one of our embassies?

I am concerned that the "double standard" allegation is pretty silly. The Sudan incident got plenty of press whinage. It wasn't used as justification for a war and occupation that's costing a billion dollars a week, near as I can recall. As far as the "loss of life" you're so piously and sincerely concerned with, how, exactly, does that angle stack up against Rummy's war?

Some things are important, some aren't. Republicans had so many "investigations" going on in the Clinton years, it's not my fault they had focus problems.
