Hi C2. Wringing of hands? You've obviously misunderstood my meaning.

I'd say there were all the elements of Shake-spear's stuff [being a registered international expert on Shake-spear] in Saddam, his sons, sons in law, mistresses, associations with King Hussein, the conflict with King George II, his Dad, attempt on King George II's wife's life and father's. Oil, foreign dealings and lots of bodies to fill the plot. What wasn't in there?

I think this will be a warning to others of their ilk around the world. Mugabe, Charles Taylor, Kim Il, Yasser Arafat and all and sundry will be minding their manners. France will be thinking their sinecure in the UN is under threat [and so it should be and so should the UN constitution].

The outcomes have been very good compared with the mayhem which might have been. The Taleban, Osama, Saddam have all been dealt with and we haven't seen much action from Al Qaeda since their 911 jackpot.

We're winning [We the Sheeple]. Which isn't really surprising since we have the numbers.

I wonder what will happen with Saddam. Will he kill himself? I doubt he'd be taken prisoner, but I have no idea really. I guess he'll go when he's been got and not before.

I agree with you that relief is the word. A sense of good riddance. A cleared air. But I don't feel like cheering. It's a sorry business. The soldiers who got them should feel satisfaction in a job well done.

No wringing of hands here. I just like to take a broader view. Mother's feelings matter too you know. This success isn't a big deal in the big picture - just a good step on the road to nirvana.
