The side I claim is my opinion of the "absolute moral code" Which turns the issue back into one of personal opinion of correct conduct. Which I claim is all you or anyone else ever had. Do you think you are born knowing right from wrong? If so, why do your parents teach this? And what are they teaching but THEIR opinions on the matter? One of the few things that can be said for religion is that it may get better adherence to some sort of code than is obtained with religion by promising reward and threatening punishment by Big Daddy later. But, as we saw yet again on 911, religion often comes with much baggage.
