There is no use just airlifting dollars and corn over the country and dropping it. It would be necessary to reinstall the cameras, raditation counters, and people on the ground. Mostly I would bribe them with oil and food. Any such situation is just stalling, but stalling can work for a significant amount of time.

What happens when your admitted "stalling" stops working? In other words, they want "more" or they break their promise?

The only reason that North Korea is rattling it's sword now is that the U.S. made deals, but did not carry out it's side of the bargain (Power generation).

This is like saying the bank robber came back because the bank refused to mail the cash that was in the vault. OK, assuming that we should keep our word and pay bribes, it seems that NK was breaking its word right off the bat, even under President Clinton's administration. I may be wrong here and welcome anyone with more knowledge as opposed to speculation. It seems that what NK is doing was not just planned one day. It seems that they have been planning this for years.

I take it from your last paragraph that you are advocating we put billions into some sort of "star wars" or "super sniffer" that maybe, maybe will let us know that NK is being good and keeping to its word. OK - so now what happens if the "super sniffer" determines that they have been lying?
