Maybe Clinton forsees a political trap being laid by the Republicans and is publicly warning his fellow Dems not to walk into it. Actually, I heard Limbaugh address this on his show today. Essentially, he was saying, "Before everyone gets geared up to say that Clinton finally did something right, let's remember that he is trying to protect himself. Why? Because HE did the same thing (even down to setting a policy of regime change) Bush has done, based on the same intelligence. First time I've heard Limbaugh's show in a couple years, but he pegged this issue. Clinton isn't just being agreeable, he is covering his ass.
