Did you listen to the Wolfowitz press conference this AM....I did, and he was excellent. Low key, but quite pertinent. Said some of the good things we have done, and some of the things they have done wrong. Told about several of the things that have happened in Iraq in 3 months that took over 12 months to do in Bosnia.

The transcript isn't out today as yet, but will try to get it tomorrow....

The folks that don't listen to our Administration, Pentagon, State Department leaders, think they don't have anything to learn. They know it all....HA!

In fact, they certainly have something to learn.

"One can tell the difference between an honest critic and a Bush basher..."

One can...?
I wonder who that one might be.
I hazard a guess that more ones think they are such a one, than actually are such a one.

One should, imo, refrain from judging people, and stick to judging ideas. The behavior of judging anonymous posters on SI looks ugly, imo. Rather than making up cute epithets for people- why not set a different kind of example, and stick with that? That is a rhetorical question, no answer needed.

Could you invent a more grandiose straw man if you tried, Neocon? I mean, I know you're the king of cheesy high school debate tricks and everything, but this is getting ridiculous.

Perhaps you should have begun with "I hold in my hand the name of 10 posters . . . " in honor of the august lineage of your particular argumentative techniques.
