"Its all about oil" can mean many different things." The meaning that's most important to us. What do you mean by that? Exactly, what JFowler said.......Iraq is the last of the big oil suppliers with big reserves. It offsets our reliance on Saudi Arabia. It brings added stability to oil prices. It ensures that Bush's colleagues will be in at the very beginning. Its why Bush is insisting that we don't need help from other countries. The US has a history of doing things for its own best interests. Nothing wrong with that but it makes all this sop talk re. the poor Iraqi people sound fairly hollow and disingenuous. ted
