**So, OK, he gets some credit for doing it without being forced.**

yup.

**As for the longer-term rapid rise in spending without a tax increase, VT enjoyed the '90s boom like most every other state, so I'm sure revenues rose rapidly.**

here's the problem, you stated employment only rose 1.2% per year. where is the boom in that? that's why the numbers don't gel and i want to look at your source.

**And like most other states, I'm sure they thought it would never end and they could keep raising spending without worry.**

again, where's your source for your opinion? i would think such a bright bulb would be able to provide at least that after already guessing so wrong and repeating the erroneous guess so many times... -lol-

**PS: On-topic, Prudential reiterated a sell rating on AMZN with a target of 15.**

they are generous, imho... -lol-

ps - the point of your dim bulb comment was obvious. my response shoulda been obvious to all but a black hole bulb.

there was nothing in my response that indicated i thought the dim bulb comment was directly related to the budget issue. nothing. it ain't there outside your inability to process information at face value.

feel free to drop the ad hominem, though, and address the ISSUES. you may well be right that there is more to dean's fiscal story. but we KNOW your guesses and assumptions are untrustworthy. so, instead of ad hominem, how's about posting useful information?

pss - what's up with si and the pop ups? they are getting old.
