I'm not short any of the semis -- KLAC and AMAT kicked my butt a number of years ago -- if I short them, it'd be through an index -- but not hankering to do it <ng>

>>Intel, Cisco and Microsoft Don't Get It
Wednesday July 23, 2:32 pm ET

By James J. Cramer,

Could they draw the lines more sharply, these folks from Cisco (NasdaqNM:CSCO - News), Intel (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) and Microsoft (NasdaqNM:MSFT - News)? Could they be less interested in what their shareholders now value and more interested in becoming banks?

Cisco, Microsoft and Intel have taken the exact opposite course from Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC - News), Citigroup (NYSE:C - News) and Cendant (NYSE:CD - News). Unlike the latter group, they're are out of the closet, the lines have been drawn and they simply don't recognize this new universe, in which we want some money back if we're going to be part of their enterprises.
